Brian's technique has evolved through his work with noteworthy acting teachers: Uta Hagen,

Milton Katselas, Terry Schreiber and Larry Moss. He has collaborated with writers and directors:

Neil Simon, Herbert Burgdoff, Gene Sachs and Margret Edson. He has produced, directed or

acted with: Jason Alexander, Ron Perlman, Anne Archer, Norman Reedus, Patrick Dempsey,

Kimberly Williams Paisley, Wesley Snipes, Tony Shalhoub, Blythe Danner, Traylor Howard,

Esai Morales, Lou Ferrigno, Catherine Bell, and Paul Sorvino.

 

Graduating with honors from the SUNY Purchase Acting Conservatory Program in New  York,

Brian is a founder and has been the Creative Director of Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa

Monica, California. He taught classes for over 20 years in Scene Study, On-Camera Auditioning

and Voice at Edgemar, Larry Moss Studio, Michael Woolson Studio, and the UCLA Extension

program. As a visiting artist, he has taught classes for The Philadelphia Acting Studio,

and Steel River Playhouse, both in Pennsylvania and for The Rehearsal Room in Melbourne

Australia.  He is a “Recommended Acting Coach” in the successful industry guidebook

Acting Is Everything, by Judy Kerr.

 

Brian currently teaches Acting and Voice for T. Schreiber Studio and Script Analysis at the New

York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, both in New York City. He coaches privately both in person

and on Skype and continues to travel to Los Angeles to teach, produce, and direct.
